HeadRock Dogs now consists of an adoption facility in Bang Saphan. Most of our work is now concentrated on helping dogs on the streets, on beaches and in temples. Neutering and vaccinating is a priority, but we also help sick & injured dogs where possible.
A large amount of our work is now done in Wats (the Thai word for temples) and the local community. These are places where dogs are very often abandoned by locals, because it is thought that monks have an obligation to feed the animals.

First neutering clinic at Wat Tam Ma Rong Temple in Bang Saphan
We also care for sick and starving abandoned puppies
We help by neutering the dogs, vaccinating them, treating skin disorders and getting dogs that need it medical or surgical help. We also try to educate those living around the area that neutering and vaccinating will help their dogs and that by neutering their owned dogs, there will be no pups to abandon. Help is also given by neutering their dogs if (as is often the case) they can’t afford it.
We hope the pages in our website will give you a better understanding of the work we are doing and the goals we are trying to achieve.
